Thistle or Spongilla lacustris is a freshwater sponge. Thistle is well-known tool for dissolving stagnant spots, infiltrates, hematomas. However, the sponge has been used in cosmetics and in particular, in acne treatment. Reduced flint needles of thistle perfectly exfoliate damaged and old layers of skin, which cork the pores. And thanking this effect the penetration of oxygen into the tissues increases, so unnecessary work sebaceous glands eliminates.
Thistle mask recipe
Dissolve thistle powder with hydrogen peroxide in the proportion 1:1. Then, using a brush apply the mask all over face and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Then thoroughly rinse with warm water.
Important! After the thistle mask reddening or irritation may appear on facial skin. Don’t worry; it will be over in a couple of hours.
