Acne Treatment Tips

Lots and lots of people month by month and year by year take it into their heads the similar question: is it possible to treat acne? Let us take the lid off: there is no a disease beyond cure on the face of the earth. There are unbefitting methods of treatment. Never say die, take no refusal. It is not so severe disease but unpleasant and nerve-racking.

Tackle the problem and find your suitable way to treat it. Acne treatment comes in two forms: local treatment and oral medicines. As usual a properly local acne treatment is quite sufficient but in severe cases your doctor may order some medicines.

Local acne treatment usually includes skin cleansers. Acne cleansers brush off oil, sweat, dirt and dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. Sometimes it is enough to remove minimal acne. It is important to keep in mind that you should choose the right cleanser for your skin and don't over do it. Too much cleansing can lead to dryness and irritation, scrape your skin and infringe its natural lubrication. Use skin cleansers as may be necessary, once or twice a day.

If you have an oily skin it is usually the result of excess sebum activity, so prefer the cleansers that will help absorb excess oil without overdrying. Cleansers for oily skin don’t have as much oil in them and don’t leave a residue. Choose a good cleanser that is oil free but does not contain any coarse chemicals, use it not often than twice per day. If you have dry skin a creamy cleanser is your best choice. Creamy cleansers usually include both oil and water and should remove dead skin cells, dirt and make-up, without stripping the skin of its natural lubrication. If your acne problem combines with a very dry skin, prefer a foam mask with a creamy product.

There is a great variety of natural acne treatment and you can use it at home easily. Here are only some of them:
Green tea and its extract can reduce the levels of the hormone which is suggested to be the causes of acne breakouts;
Aloe vera is known to cure acne, it can reduce the inflammation;
Tea tree oil contains some active antimicrobial agents. Beneficent when acne is caused with bacteria;
Olive leaf has antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
